5 Tips to Travel Hygiene that you must follow!

When the thought of a new adventure trip with friends or a vacation with family or even a trip to a new place unknown is on the cards, we put so much emphasis on “ the destination” that we forget that there might be a lot of uncomfortable points through travel if they are not prepared for beforehand. Well, so it’s better late than never but your lack of planning and foreseeing might just end up costing you a lot of extra bucks and inconvenience as well. You don’t want to fall sick, have allergies or any kind of discomfort which might just ruin the spirit of a holiday, adventure or a normal trip so here’s why you need to plan.
 Personal hygiene matters most while traveling because we put our body through a lot of changes due to climate, food and water. Most of us are likely to have some trouble adjusting to the new atmosphere so here’s your heads up guide to what you must take care of.
1.  Make a health kit
A travel kit must be your priority before packing luggage. Include a mini size first aid kit with basic disinfectant, anti inflammatory gel, cotton, dettol and bandages. Make sure you include medicines in specific if you have allergies and don’t forget to put a pill to help digestion so that you avoid constipation issues.

2.  Stays at hotels and resorts 
If you book your stays online, make sure you check the hygiene levels. Once you reach, inspect the place properly and take measures to keep yourself away from dirty linen and dirty toilets seats or anything unpleasant. For this, you could use a disposable.
bedsheet, disposable toilet covers, disposable slippers and disposable pillows which can be inflated so are meant for travel. Your comfort and health comes first.
3.  Food                                                                                   Your urge to have those new lip smacking dishes you’ve always heard of is justified but before hitting a joint, check the hygiene, kitchen conditions and try avoiding red meat as much as possible unless you believe it won’t be a problem. Apart from this, don’t be too speculative and try all those new dishes and tell us how they were, too!                                                                                                                                4. Water                                                                                    Water borne diseases are everywhere. Try to stick to packaged drinking water when you are outside. Most of us try to restrict drinking water worried about finding toilets when needed but the only way to keep yourself away from infection is drinking loads of water.

 Hygiene Whether you’re at a spa or staying over at a hotel or resort, never use linen which you doubt might be dirty or which has been used earlier. To be on the safe side carry your own towels and face wipes. Make sure your face and hands are kept clean by using proper sanitizers and face washes. It is hard to find a washing machine or get the hotel to do laundry while you’re traveling but you might not be able to carry too many pairs of clothes and innerwear either? So, consider making use of disposable innerwear. You could do the same for towels as well.

                                                                                                                                                                                 Hygiene sums up to 3/4th of health. Keep your surrounding clean, eat healthy foods, use hygienic personal products and make sure you have a lovely time traveling because you didn’t plan that vacation to worry about your health and be down with discomfort.
